Sergio Heker

Founder & CEO of GLESEC

Sergio Heker founded GLESEC, a cyber security company headquartered in Princeton, NJ with operations across Latin America.  Mr. Heker has been involved in Internet security since 1985 when he started and operated highest speed Internet network in the world and carried most of the traffic of the Internet.    He has started a number of successful international ventures in Internet and Cyber Security across the US and Latin America. He holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, in Hoboken, New Jersey and is a frequent conference speaker and is widely recognized as an Internet pioneer.

Albert Hurtado, CPA

Tax Partner at GallerRagans

His primary practice areas include income tax compliance and planning for small and middle market businesses and individuals. This includes closely held C Corporation, Subchapter S Corporation, and Partnerships (LLC, LLP, LLLP). In addition, Albert assists businesses with multi-state tax, business consulting and formation, and accounting/ bookkeeping. Industry practice areas include professional service organizations, real estate, wholesale and retail.

He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S.B.A. in accounting and a M.S. in Taxation from the same educational institution.

 

Nathan Hirsch

Nathan Hirsch is a serial entrepreneur and expert in remote hiring and eCommerce. He started his first eCommerce business out of his college dorm room and has sold over $30 million online. He is now the co-founder and CEO of FreeeUp.com, a marketplace that connects businesses with pre-vetted freelancers in eCommerce, digital marketing, and much more. He regularly appears on leading podcasts, such as Entrepreneur on Fire, and speaks at live events about online hiring tactics.

Laura Kell, PHR, SHRM-SCP

HR Solution Consultant at PAYCHEX

Laura has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She spent five of those years working in the hospitality industry as the HR Director for Hilton, Inc. a hotel group located in Panama City Beach.  Laura was also the HR Director for Community Based Care of Volusia County, a private agency that took over foster care and adoption services in the state of Florida.  In 2004, Laura she joined  Paychex as an HR Consultant. In her current capacity she meets with business owners to identify HR, safety compliance and benefit needs in order to make recommendations for streamlining processes and maximizing revenue.  Laura holds a PHR certification and SHRM-CP.

 

Michael Pape, Ph.D

Professor of Practice in the Department of Management at UCF 

Dr. Pape teaches entrepreneurship at the College of Business Administration in the University of Central Florida. As the Dr. Phillips Entrepreneur in Residence, Mike serves as Director of the Upstarts Student Venture Accelerator within the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, which guides the most ambitious entrepreneurial students at UCF through the entrepreneurial method.  He is also founding Executive Director of the Michigan Academy for the Development of Entrepreneurs (MADE) which has an international mission to develop entrepreneurs in emerging economies. His entrepreneurial efforts have led to his inclusion in the book How They Did It: Billion Dollar Insights from the Heart of America and receiving Distinguished Alumni Awards from both the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the College of Agriculture at Purdue University. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Michigan, Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Purdue University and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Adriana Pereira-Reyes

Senior Director of Community Relations at Walmart

Adriana has spent nearly two decades working in government and public affairs at the local, state, and federal levels. She currently leads community outreach programs and corporate giving for Walmart in various states including Florida. She began her career at Walmart three years ago on the government relations team where she focused on advocating for business friendly legislation in Tallahassee and worked to site and permit new stores across Florida. Adriana has experience in education policy, disaster relief, state budgeting, business policy and regulation, and public and corporate communications and messaging. Adriana earned a BS in Communication from FIU and an MPA from American University in Washington, DC. 

 

Ronald F. Piccolo, Ph.D

Chair of the Department of Management at UCF

Dr. Piccolo is the Chair of the Department of Management and the Galloway Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. From 2009 – 2016, he served as the Cornell Professor of Management and Academic Director of the Center for Leadership Development & Executive Education in the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Dr. Piccolo earned a Ph. D in management from the University of Florida, an M.B.A. from Rollins, and a Bachelors of Science in mathematics from Stetson University. He has been a visiting scholar at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany, and the Amsterdam Business School. Dr. Piccolo teaches or has taught graduate-level courses in leadership, organizational behavior (OB), research methods, and management strategy. 

 

Frances Rios

Womanpreneur, International Speaker, Founder & CEO of Frances Rios Enterprises

Recognized as a thought provoking speaker and pioneer of women inclusion in Latin America. Her focus is to position companies as the preferred by the female talent while supporting women reach their professional goals. She is the only member accepted by the National Speakers Association and the Global Speakers Federation in Latin America. After graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism from Loyola University in New Orleans, Frances became a reporter and then a spokesperson for Fortune 100 companies like Walmart and Humana Health Plans in the United States. Paul Roldan

Senior Partner and CEO at Allgen Financial Services, Inc.

Paul is a Co-Founder of Allgen a financial advisory firm that provides highly tailored financial planning, investments, money management, asset management, retirement planning, debt reduction, budgeting, estate planning, rollovers, legacy planning, and cash flow planning.  Prior to starting Allgen, he was an Investment Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services and Equity Services, Inc. He was also with AXA Advisors, Inc. and Charles Schwab, Inc. In addition, Paul was one of the co-founding Partners at Heritage Financial Services, LLC. His career began as a Financial Analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank off Wall Street where he served on the evaluation group for the Orange County Crisis and the Mexican Economic Crisis. Paul  has conducted financial educational seminars for nearly 13 years, creating an awareness of personal financial planning issues as well as current economic trends. His passion for creating financial awareness has led him to teach university courses in financial management as well as speak at financial awareness events across the United States. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, YMCA of Central Florida and the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is a native of New York. He is an undergraduate alumnus of Princeton University and a graduate alumnus of Harvard University.
